It’s that easy: Stir the paint well before use. Apply a generous coat of GOLD-EFFECT Base to approximately 2 m² using the dampened Alpina Roller. The more base you use, the easier the subsequent texturing will be. Starting at the edge, apply the Alpina Effect Trowel and, using short, crisscrossing strokes, texture the wall surface with pressure. Wipe off any excess material on the bucket. Treat the remaining wall surface as described above. Always roll a small section into the already textured area to achieve an optimal, seamless finish (“wet-on-wet”). Allow the GOLD-EFFECT Base to dry for 12 hours. Apply a small amount of GOLD-EFFECT Finish to approximately 2 m² using the dampened Alpina Roller. Texture the surface with the Alpina Effect Trowel in the same way as the GOLD-EFFECT Base. Tip from our color experts: After approximately 4–8 minutes, re-texture the surface with the Alpina EFFECT trowel to achieve optimal gloss.
