At this size, the plants are suitable for planting in planters and containers for your garden, patio, or balcony.

Conifers are also excellent for creating hedges. Pruning plays an important role in the plants’ development. Conifers should be pruned at least once, or preferably twice, a year to maintain a beautiful, full hedge.

If you only want to prune the conifers once a year, early August would be the best time. The plants should not be pruned in excessively hot or extremely sunny weather to avoid scorching.
