In collaboration with the iconic brand Vans, SE Bikes developed the Vans PK Ripper Looptail 2021: a retro-styled BMX bike that is both timeless and innovative.
Many BMX athletes, including Perry Kramer, have worn Vans shoes and participated in Vans-sponsored events, making the brand an integral part of BMX culture.
With the signature Vans checkerboard pattern on the seat cushion set, the bike boasts a striking look, complemented by clever details like the cube-shaped valve caps. The old-school frame, crafted from robust aluminum with a characteristic looptail rear end and retro dropouts, is paired with an Off the Wall Landing Gear rigid fork and a wide Power Wing BMX handlebar, both made from high-quality chromoly steel. Vans x Cult waffle-pattern grips and Tektro brake levers complete the package.
The drivetrain features an SE TSC crankset with 180 mm crank arms and a singlespeed chain. X-Pedo low-profile pedals with removable pins provide a secure grip while riding on the road or in the bike park. The 20″ x 2.1″ BMX tires have a grippy tread pattern with good rolling characteristics. The bike is slowed down by powerful Tektro V-brakes with slick cables.
The Vans PK Ripper is not only a reliable bike for tricks and jumps, but also an embodiment of the BMX spirit.Â
To ensure that you can get started right away without lengthy assembly, all bicycles are delivered at least 85% pre-assembled.Â
We recommend the bike with a 26 cm frame height for people who are 160 cm tall or taller.
Attention: Please note that this bicycle is not equipped with lights and therefore does not comply with German road traffic regulations (StVZO). Retrofitting with appropriate lighting is recommended.
