Stop wasting space on your patio and avoid overlooked tripping hazards . A patio base or parasol stand often takes up too much space and becomes a tripping hazard when you don’t need the parasol . That ‘s why we now offer a space – saving universal base plate for flush concreting .

It can be concreted flush with the ground , eliminating tripping hazards or bulky parasol bases on your patio . The rotating base or standpipe is simply screwed onto the universal base plate instead of the standard base . Concreted in place, the universal base plate provides your parasol with greater stability than a standard base .

The swivel base or standpipe is simply screwed onto the universal base plate instead of the standard base plate . By setting the universal base plate in concrete, your parasol gains greater stability than with the standard base plate . Once  installed flush with the ground , the base is almost completely below the surface . The base is barely noticeable when the parasol is not mounted on it .

First, dig a 40 x 40 x 40 cm hole in the ground . Pay attention to the individual metal teeth and the position of the rotating plate . Now , turn the lower plate and tighten the parasol stand tube and the base plate screws . Ensure that the two parts are connected and that there is no cement in the threaded holes . Fill the hole with cement so that the base is embedded in it . Use a spirit level to check the alignment of the stand . The cement will take approximately three  days to harden . After that, you can fully install and use your parasol .

The universal metal base is suitable for most parasols with M8 screws.
