The front of the boys’ vest is made of crisp, dark blue linen, while the back, with its adjustable back strap, is made of a slightly shiny black woven fabric. The traditional, reinforced linen stand-up collar is subtly adorned with a classic, embroidered decorative line in navy and contrasting velour-style piping in light brown. The button and buttonhole placket are also accented with velour piping. The button placket is adorned with sturdy buttons in a rustic staghorn look. Both the decorative breast pocket and the side pockets feature double piping in light brown velour.
