INFOBOX SIBERIAN LARCH

Larch wood is stable, weather-resistant, and affordable in our region. It exhibits minimal to moderate warping, and its natural components make it resistant to the elements and highly durable. Due to the significantly colder climate, Siberian larch grows more slowly than European larch. This results in closer-set growth rings, making the wood harder and more dimensionally stable. The wood has an aromatic scent, dries quickly, is resistant to fungal attack, and therefore very slip-resistant. Furthermore, Siberian larch is one of the hardest softwoods and is classified as durability class 2 to 3 according to DIN EN 350-2.

– The product is untreated
– Resistant to weathering, UV radiation, and moisture
– Excellent for outdoor use, as it is largely resistant to insect damage and fungal growth
– Contains no toxic components – No warping or cracking
– No splintering – Slip-resistant in both dry and wet conditions
– No special care products are required; cleaning with normal water is sufficient (therefore particularly suitable for pool surrounds).
