Over time, it develops its typical silvery-gray patina when exposed to the elements (those who wish to maintain the color of freshly processed larch wood can do so with a larch wood care product). The rain barrel is lined with a high-quality, durable, drinking-grade liner. The wooden walls serve as the supporting structure for this water container. The rain barrel is delivered as a kit (including the liner) in a cardboard box and is easy to assemble. 3-year warranty. A matching lid is available as an accessory.
