The sturdy lid is made of weatherproof and waterproof multi-layer panels. Both the top and bottom surfaces are coated with a water-repellent finish. With the lid, the rainwater stays clean because neither dirt nor leaves fall in, preventing troublesome algae growth and depriving mosquitoes of a breeding ground.
