The MT200 brakes use mineral oil as the braking fluid. Compared to synthetic oils, mineral oil has the advantage of being neither toxic nor corrosive and only needs to be changed when braking performance noticeably decreases. This makes these brakes significantly lower maintenance-intensive than those using synthetic oil, which require an annual oil change. Bleeding the brake lines is effortless thanks to One Way Bleeding technology. The caliper is made of aluminum and equipped with resin brake pads.Â
