Series 900 – the screw chisel

The fundamental principle behind the original design of the Kraftform handle – that the hand should dictate the shape of the handle – has proven correct to this day. As early as the 1960s, Wera, in collaboration with the internationally renowned Fraunhofer Institute for Industrial Engineering and Organization, developed a screwdriver handle adapted to the shape of the human hand. After extensive development, the Wera Kraftform handle was launched in 1968. Since then, it has been optimized through new technologies, but it has retained its proven shape, because the human hand itself has not changed since then.
