Instructions for use

ATTENTION, PLEASE NOTE: Before use, please carefully read the SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS on the back of the instruction leaflet. Perform an ALLERGY SUSPECTION TEST. Use the product immediately after mixing. 1. PREPARATION Schwarzkopf LIVE Intense Colour is applied to dry, unwashed hair. It is recommended not to wash your hair for 24–48 hours before application. Use the enclosed gloves. Before you begin, have a protective cape and a clock ready to monitor the processing time. 2. MIXING A. Unscrew the cap of the developer lotion applicator bottle. Open the LIVE Color Cream tube by piercing the tube seal with the back of the cap. Carefully squeeze the entire contents of the tube into the developer lotion applicator bottle. B. Screw the cap back on the applicator bottle and shake vigorously until everything is completely blended into a smooth cream. C. Cover your shoulders with a protective cape. Break off the tip of the applicator bottle and begin application immediately as described below. CAUTION: The color of the color mixture may change during application. This does not affect the final color result. 3. A. FIRST APPLICATION This application is recommended if: – you are permanently coloring your hair for the first time. – your previous hair color has completely grown out, i.e., no roots are visible. Distribute the prepared color mixture evenly, strand by strand, from roots to ends (please keep the enclosed gloves on). Apply to gray hair first. Massage the mixture in with your fingertips to ensure all hair is evenly coated. Leave the mixture on for 30 minutes. (For shades 105, 109: Leave the mixture on for 45 minutes). 3. B. ROOT TREATMENT A root treatment is necessary if: – your hair is already permanently colored and roots are visible. – your hair ends are darker or damaged. First, apply 2/3 of the color mixture only to the regrowth at the roots. To do this, part a section of hair using the tip of the applicator bottle. Now apply the mixture along the part and distribute it with your fingers (please keep the enclosed gloves on) at the roots. Repeat this process until the entire regrowth is covered. Leave the mixture on for 20–30 minutes. Then distribute the remaining mixture throughout your hair. Work it in evenly and leave it on for another 5–10 minutes. The total processing time should be up to 30 minutes. (For shades 105 and 109: The total processing time is 45 minutes.) 4. RINSE Put the gloves back on before rinsing your hair.After the processing time, lather your hair with warm water and gently massage it around the roots to avoid staining. Rinse thoroughly until the water runs clear. 5. CONDITIONING AFTERTREAT Before the treatment, put the gloves back on. Apply the conditioning treatment to towel-dried hair and comb through to distribute the conditioner evenly. Leave on for up to 3 minutes, then rinse thoroughly. 6. COLOR REFRESHING GLOSSING AFTER 3 WEEKS Put on gloves before application. Apply the glossing treatment to towel-dried hair and comb through to distribute the glossing evenly. Leave on for up to 5 minutes (or up to 10 minutes for a more intense color result). Then rinse thoroughly.
