Simply indestructible, 
granite sinks made of Fragranite are highly elegant and add a special touch to the kitchen with their natural look. Fragranite is a modern composite material with a subtle sheen. The surface feels pleasantly warm, is finely textured but non-porous, and meets the highest hygiene standards. Fragranite consists of 80% quartz sand and 20% very hard acrylic resin. A Franke granite sink made of Fragranite is virtually indestructible and will remain as beautiful as new for years.

Granite sink care: How to care for Fragranite+
In most cases, it is sufficient to dampen a standard cleaning sponge with a little dish soap and clean the surface in circular motions. Then rinse thoroughly. Abrasive cleaners or scouring powders, bleach, or drain cleaners are not suitable for Fragranite.

Push-button drain valve:
With the new push-button drain valve, you can drain the water without having to reach into the sink. The stainless steel-look push button works purely mechanically and is maintenance-free: By gently pressing the button, the Bowden cable simply moves the drain valve back and forth. Similar to the mechanism of a ballpoint pen, the drain is open when the button is flush with the sink – when the push button is pointing upwards, it is closed. 

Concealed overflow:
The elegantly concealed overflow serves as a visual accent, consistently continuing the design down to the last detail, and facilitates cleaning in otherwise difficult-to-reach areas by simply removing the cover plate.
