Children’s desk KINO-XL The children’s desk KINTO-XL from our collection of SALTO children’s furniture is inspired by the design icon >Eiermann desk<. Designed by the famous German architect Egon Eiermann (Berlin Memorial Church) for his architectural office. We have adopted the most important features of the Eiermann frame: the visual lightness, combined with indestructible stability. Children’s rooms are often small rooms, the delicate frame makes itself almost invisible here. There is also romping in the children’s room and a children’s desk has to play along without being damaged. Then we added many features to the frame that are important for children: The most important thing: The children’s desk grows with your child. The base height of 50cm is suitable for preschool and the start of school, the upper height of 75cm is in line with the office standard and therefore also fits teenagers or students. The diagonal strut has been moved all the way to the back of the desk, which offers plenty of legroom under the table. The large drawer under the tabletop creates space for writing and painting utensils and is equipped with a flexible organisation system: magnetically adhesive wooden strips can be moved in the drawer as desired and required. That’s unique. For parents, the sustainability and safety of a desk for students are important: The tabletop is firmly screwed to the frame and cannot slip. The corners of the top are gently rounded, the wooden top with visible edges is coated with CPL and can therefore be wiped clean with a damp cloth and if a glass is spilled, that’s no problem. The drawer and frame are painted white. The powder coating is solvent-free and can withstand a shock without getting a scratch. The height-adjustable desk KINTO-XL is built to accompany your child from the first day of school to the final exam and to support his or her learning success.
