NÉONAIL’s Baby Boomer sponges are suitable for both classic nail polishes and gel and UV nail polishes. These specially shaped sponges allow for optimal shading and skillful color combinations for an ombré or baby boomer look. Moreover, the soft sponges won’t wrinkle due to their density. Instructions for use
1. Prepare the nails by buffing them with a polishing file and cleaning them with nail cleaner. 2. Apply a thin layer of any base coat and cure under an LED lamp. For the Baby Boomer look, a lightly tinted base coat such as Baby Boomer Nude Base or Baby Boomer Rose Base is recommended. 3. Optionally, apply the peel-off gum around the nail. 4. Apply a small amount of semi-transparent UV nail polish or Baby Boomer White Paint LED Gel to a Baby Boomer sponge. Using a rosewood stick, spread the product along one-third of the sponge’s length. Dab off any excess product onto a piece of foil. Carefully dab the sponge onto the nail, starting at the free edge and working towards the base. Dab for a smooth transition between the Baby Boomer White Paint LED and the base coat. Cure nails under an LED lamp (according to the chart). 5. For an even finish, apply one or two more coats of Baby Boomer White Paint LED and cure nails under an LED lamp (according to the chart). 6. To seal the color, apply a thin layer of top coat and cure under the LED lamp. 7. If peel-off eraser was used, remove it – the ombré or baby boomer look is complete. Note: If you have a latex allergy, the use of baby boomer eraser sponges is not recommended.
