The CTEK POLAR is a unique charger with advanced technology and special features for charging in extreme cold. It was developed for vehicles that require optimal battery maintenance during the cold winter months, such as snowmobiles, ATVs, off-road vehicles, and cars. It features a modified voltage charging function for optimal charging in extremely low temperatures. Another unique feature is its reconditioning function (which restores deeply discharged batteries with acid stratification) available for both small and standard-sized batteries. The CTEK POLAR is equipped with extremely cold-resistant rubber cables on both ends. With its sophisticated eight-stage charging system, the charger analyzes whether the battery can accept and hold a charge. It operates fully automatically and switches to trickle charging once the battery is fully charged – a significant advantage in cold weather. While it also performs well in milder climates, it is designed for charging between -30°C and +50°C.
