This accessory for portable air conditioners is specifically designed for German tilt-and-turn windows (typical German windows). This solution saves energy, so it pays for itself in no time. A lower temperature is achieved in the rooms more quickly. Among other things, it prevents heat from outside and the warm exhaust air generated by the air conditioner itself from flowing back into the room. As a side effect, it also keeps mosquitoes and other unwanted insects away.
Furthermore, it seals the open window against moisture. Outside noise is also dampened by the Velcro window kit. This accessory can also be used with tumble dryers, in both warm and cold seasons. The windows can be easily closed even with the accessory installed: first fold one corner inwards, then the other. Installation is simple using self-adhesive Velcro strips.
The problem of “where to put the exhaust hose?” is solved, and no one needs to become an inventor or DIY enthusiast. This accessory is suitable for all standard window sizes with a total circumference not exceeding 400 cm. The applicable window size can be calculated, for example, as: 1 × window height (left) + 1 × window height (right) + 1 × window width.
