Do as nature does: transform plant waste into valuable nutrients! Making your own compost is the best thing you can do for your plants and soil. This thermal composter makes it easy. Start collecting garden and kitchen waste now! The Neudorff DuoTherm 530L thermal composter composts organic garden and kitchen waste within two to three months. By then, the plant material will have decomposed sufficiently to be returned to the garden cycle as nutrient-rich mulch compost. Careful shredding and mixing are crucial for the rapid and even decomposition of organic materials. Mix fine materials, such as grass clippings, with coarser materials, such as shredded branches or chopped plant stems. Thanks to the double-walled thermal construction, decomposition temperatures of up to 70°C can be reached, which also destroys most weed seeds and pathogens. The Neudorff DuoTherm 530L composter requires approximately 1 m² of floor space, making it ideal for small gardens. To prevent mice and other rodents from entering the composter from the ground, we recommend using our mouse guard.

assembly according to instructions: 1. Place the composter as level as possible on the ground, not on paving stones. The materials inside need contact with the soil. This allows microorganisms from the soil to rise into the compost, and compost worms to retreat into the protective soil during frost. Additionally, any liquid produced can easily seep away. 2. Collect the raw materials and prepare larger quantities at once (at least 80-100 liters). This will help you achieve higher temperatures. 3: Chop the materials with scissors or a shredder. 4: Sprinkle a handful of Neudorff Radivit Compost Accelerator over each layer. 5: The contents of the composter should always be as moist as a wrung-out sponge. If necessary, water it or add Neudorff Bentonite Sand Soil Improver to retain moisture. 6: Turn the compost after 2–3 weeks or mix it thoroughly (except for worm composting). This ensures sufficient oxygen reaches the active microorganisms. 7: After about 8–12 weeks, you will have valuable mulch compost, which you can use to improve the soil in beds and around trees. To remove it, use the bottom hatch, or simply remove a side panel.
