They are quick and easy to install, cost-effective compared to pergolas or similar structures, and can be removed at any time. Once the anchors are in place, a sun sail in a different color can be easily installed – for a completely new look. The off-white colors also have the advantage of not causing glare in intense sunlight, unlike, for example, pure white. To find the right sun sail for the area where you want to create shade, several factors are important. 1. Sun position: This varies greatly depending on the time of day and year. Here’s a good rule of thumb: choose a sail that is larger than the area you want to shade. 2.
