Children are not allowed to play with the device!
The packaging material (plastic bags, polystyrene, etc.) is a potential source of danger and must not get into the hands of children.
Check the device for integrity after unpacking. If in doubt, do not use the device, but contact customer service.
Only use the device when it is fully assembled and functional!
Only operate the steam cleaner with the voltage indicated on the nameplate on the back of the appliance.
If possible, do not use adapters, multiple sockets and/or extension cables. If necessary, only use those that comply with the safety regulations and do not exceed the maximum power specified on the adapter.
Lay the power cable in such a way that it does not become a tripping hazard or is crushed or kinked.
Before each use, check the floor cleaning cloth for wear. It must not be used if it is visibly worn! Your flooring could be damaged!
Do not leave the appliance unattended while it is connected to the mains.
Improper use or repairs can cause considerable danger to the user and void the warranty claim. For necessary repairs, please consult Leifheit customer service.
Do not operate the plug or steam cleaner with wet hands.
Hands or feet must not get under the steam cleaner during operation, as it gets very hot and can cause burns.
Surfaces can become very hot due to the steam and cause burns if touched.
Do not use the device in the immediate vicinity of corrosive or explosive substances to prevent explosions and short circuits.
Do not use the steam cleaner on leather, waxed furniture or floors, synthetic fabrics, velvet or on steam-sensitive materials.
Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of your body away from the openings.
Never direct the liquid or steam jet at electrical sockets or equipment that contains electrical components, such as oven interiors, oven interiors, etc.
Never turn the device upside down or on its side while using it.
Electrical components (on/off switches, etc.) are not connected to theTo bring it into contact. If the device has accidentally fallen into the water, the power plug must be pulled immediately. Never reach into water to remove the device. There is a risk of electric shock!

Wrap the cable only around the two provided cable holders to avoid damaging the cable.
Only operate the steam cleaner on flat, horizontal surfaces (not on walls, work surfaces or windows). Work extra carefully when cleaning stairs. Do not place the device on stairs or furniture, as this may cause injury or damage.
Do not operate the steam cleaner without water in the water container.
Do not carry the device by the handle of the water tank.
Do not put any objects in the openings of the device.
Do not use the device if it has been dropped, if obvious damage is visible, or if it is leaking. If in doubt, call the Leifheit service hotline and
do not use the steam cleaner in an enclosed space with fumes, solvent-based paints, thinner, flammable dust or other explosive or toxic vapours.
Allow the steam cleaner to cool down sufficiently long before removing the microfiber cloth.
Turn off the steam cleaner before unplugging it from the power outlet.
Keep the appliance away from flammable materials such as curtains, curtains, etc.
Do not clean over floor sockets.
Do not use the device to heat rooms.
Do not leave the appliance unattended at the power outlet. Unplug the appliance from the socket: – when not in use or if you do not use the appliance for a longer period of time – before cleaning or servicing – in the event of a thunderstorm.
Keep the device out of reach of children when it is turned on or cooling.
Allow the device to cool completely before putting it away for storage.
Pay attention to the stability of the device:
store or do not use the device outdoors. Do not expose the appliance to temperatures below freezing.
This device must be grounded. In the event of a malfunction or failure, the grounding allows the current to drain easily, reducing the risk of electric shock.
This device is equipped with a safety contact and safety plug [11]. The plug must be plugged into an appropriate socket that is correctly installed, grounded and complies with local regulations.
ATTENTION! Incorrect connection of the safety contact can lead to an electric shock. Have an electrician or professional check that the connection is correctly grounded if you have any doubts.
Change not the device plug. If it does not fit into the socket, have the electrician install an appropriate socket. The device is designed for an operating voltage of 230 volts and has a safety plug.
Never use the steam cleaner without the microfiber floor cloth.
Do not add descaler, flavoring or alcoholic products, cleaning solutions, fragrances, oils, or other chemicals to the water tank.
The evaporation of chemicals in the liquids can cause serious damage to health. To avoid the formation of deposits, we recommend a general use of distilled water (commercially available).
Never remove the water tank when the steam cleaner is
in operation Only operate the steam cleaner with the fresh water tank full.
As soon as water leaks from the appliance unexpectedly and in places not intended for proper operation, immediately unplug the mains plug [11] and do not touch it again. There is a risk of electric shock! Please call the Leifheit service hotline!
Always unplug the mains plug from the socket first before carrying out any cleaning or maintenance activities.
