If you prefer a minimalist, colorful, and retro style, the Galano Blade singlespeed bike is perfect for you! The Blade combines the classic simplicity of a singlespeed with splashes of color on the rims, stem, and grips, and an otherwise understated color scheme that offers plenty of room for personalization: large stickers have been omitted, and the existing ones are not clear-coated, so they can be easily removed. This allows you to create your own custom bike with the Blade!
The steel frame features the typical diamond geometry and, thanks to its direct drivetrain, translates every pedal stroke directly and smoothly into forward motion. Since the bicycle has no gears, maintenance or repair of the associated components is completely eliminated. Instead, the Blade is equipped with a flip-flop hub, allowing it to be switched from freewheel to fixed gear simply by flipping the rear wheel.Â
The bike rolls on 700c x 28c tires with a road tread, mounted on aluminum rims in the respective decorative color. This results in a manageable weight of 11.8 kg. Powerful caliper brakes on both wheels provide stopping power.Â
