The Einhell FREELEXO CAM 500 belongs to the powerful Power X-Change family, which offers unlimited flexibility within the system. The lithium-ion batteries in this series can be combined with all system devices. Using an integrated camera, the FREELEXO CAM 500 automatically detects the boundaries of the lawn to be mowed by perceiving the lawn’s surface based on color and texture. Physical boundaries, such as walls, hedges, or trees, are detected by integrated ultrasonic sensors, while the camera also detects optical boundaries like bark mulch, asphalt, and stones. This eliminates the time-consuming and tedious process of laying a boundary wire, and the robotic mower can start immediately. Thanks to the camera, the robotic mower recognizes various surfaces, and with its bump and obstacle sensors, it can also detect obstacles higher than 10 cm. The included 5-meter magnetic strip, once laid out in the garden, serves as an additional virtual boundary for the robotic mower. The magnetic sensors in the FREELEXO CAM detect the magnetic boundary tape, causing the robotic lawnmower to turn away at the tape’s edge. This allows you to temporarily exclude areas that should not be mowed using magnetic force, for example, around a newly planted tree or a wildflower meadow. It also features an LED display and an intuitive keypad for programming mowing times. The robotic lawnmower is protected against theft by a PIN code and an alarm signal. Returning to the charging station and recharging itself occur automatically when needed. A rain sensor is also integrated. The robotic lawnmower offers a cutting height adjustment from 20 mm to 60 mm and is suitable for slopes up to 25%. A carrying handle ensures convenient transport. The FREELEXO CAM 500 comes with everything required for installation and operation. It is designed for lawns up to 500 m². The package includes a 3.0 Ah battery, a charging station, 3 replacement blades, 12 m guide cable, 5 m magnetic tape, 25 fastening hooks and 2 connecting clamps.
