This compact robot knows exactly when, where, and how to mow the lawn to keep it healthy. With its unique, patented Active Guidance System (AGS), it can store GNSS (GPS) signal strength data at different times of day and intelligently plan its mowing in advance, ensuring uninterrupted operation when the signal is strongest. For optimal performance with the STIGA A 500, check network coverage in your garden, especially under large, dense trees. Installation is simple: just like a remote-controlled car, the STIGA A 500 is guided along the lawn’s edge. Once the mowing zones are set up, further adjustments can be made virtually via the app. If your garden layout changes, you can easily update the settings using the STIGA.GO app. The A 500 robotic lawnmower can reliably maintain a lawn of up to 700 m² in just two mowing sessions per day. The next session always begins where the previous one left off, allowing the robot to maintain the entire lawn by mowing different zones each day. You can set up to three different mowing zones in your garden. The robot’s technology relies on data communication between the STIGA Cloud, the robot, and the base station. Both the robot and the base station are equipped with SIM cards for this purpose. This enables constant communication with the robot across the entire property. Mowing therefore requires and consumes data. There are no additional costs for connectivity and mobile network usage; these are included in the purchase price for the robot’s entire lifespan.

Our RTK system uses GPS with the highest precision – combined with the patented AGS (Active Guidance System). It learns the garden, plans signal paths in advance, and thus ensures uninterrupted, precise mowing – entirely without boundary wires.
