lights make riding in the dark easier, and the high-quality saddle will impress you with its comfort on long rides. Furthermore, the saddle is mounted on a shock-absorbing seatpost to reduce vibrations from uneven riding.

A robust and stable luggage rack is an essential feature of this city bike. It allows for carrying additional luggage, and mounting extra panniers is no problem. A complete mudguard system is also included, providing excellent protection from mud.

The frame of the KROSS Explorer 4.0 is made of 6061 performance aluminum. This special aluminum alloy makes the bike stiff and break-resistant. At the same time, it is a relatively lightweight material whose properties can surprise many cyclists. The frame is powder-coated, which contributes to the durability of the paint and its resistance to mechanical damage.

During the frame’s development, KROSS opted for internal cable routing, giving the bike a neat and tidy appearance. This cable routing system also reduces the risk of cable breakage when riding on rough terrain.

The Suntour SR suspension fork with 50 mm of travel gets you to your destination without you having to worry about curbs or cobblestones. And on trips outside the city, you can ride over rocks or roots without hesitation.

The finish is achieved by applying electrified powder coating particles to aluminum, which requires thermal treatment. After baking, the coating surface forms a perfectly smooth layer that is extremely resistant to mechanical damage.

Internal cable routing extends the lifespan of the cables, as they are protected from mud, sand, and rain along with the cable housing. This saves valuable grams and gives the bicycle a clean, sporty feel.
