Traveling in the car from birth to approximately 4 years with the Joie rear-facing car seat
The Joie rear-facing car seat is state-of-the-art in terms of safety, featuring Isofix and integrated side impact protection, and complies with the latest European i-Size safety standard. This means your little explorer can travel safely rear-facing in the car from birth to age 4. From 15 months onwards, forward-facing use is also possible and permitted.
This rear-facing car seat uses the included Isofix base for installation. Thanks to the base’s swivel function, you protect your back and avoid awkward movements: simply turn the seat towards you, lift your child in comfortably, and effortlessly swivel it back into the driving position. The integrated support leg ensures stable positioning in the car. Equipped with a 5-point harness, impact forces are optimally distributed across the shoulders, hips, and pelvis for maximum safety. Padding on the harness system prevents uncomfortable pressure points or chafing.
Maximum, growing comfort
To ensure even the smallest babies, from 40 cm in height, have good support in the seat, this model comes with a removable newborn insert for the early stages. With the 6-position adjustable backrest and 6-position adjustable headrest, you can individually adjust the rear-facing car seat to your child’s size. If the cover needs cleaning, you can simply remove it and machine wash it to restore its shine. The rear-facing car seat’s semi-reclined installation helps relieve pressure on the spine and ensures a stable head position while sleeping.
