The Makita HG5030K hot air gun is a lightweight, versatile tool with 1,600 watts of power. The temperature can be switched between two settings, from 350°C to 500°C. It is ideal for removing stickers, drying, thawing, and removing old paint, applying edge banding, shrinking heat shrink tubing, disinfecting animal cages, lighting grills, and much more. The preset temperature is electronically maintained for particularly precise soldering and welding work. Overheating protection via a thermostat ensures the heating element automatically shuts off in case of overload. The motor of the HG5030K hot air gun is positioned perpendicular to the main airflow, thus protecting it from contamination. During breaks, the gun can be stood upright to cool down or hung up using the integrated eyelet in the handle.
