KROSS ESKER TR
The KROSS Esker TR is a versatile gravel bike suitable for both long tours and everyday riding. Equipped with a second-generation GEN2 aluminum frame and a RockShox Rudy fork with 30mm of travel, it offers durability and comfort on gravel roads and other terrain. The SHIMANO GRX 1×12 drivetrain and hydraulic disc brakes give you total control on any trail, whether it’s fast asphalt or challenging gravel roads. The Esker TR is the ideal choice for anyone looking for a bike that combines durability, suspension, and excellent performance on any terrain
Gravel in a new edition – GEN2
The new GEN2 Performance aluminum frame features a variety of mounting holes for bags, racks, fenders, and more. There’s also a dedicated spot for mounting a kickstand. The lightweight and stiff carbon fork, developed by KROSS, has internal brake cable routing and is interchangeable with 30mm travel suspension forks.
The lowered center of gravity and increased wheelbase improve the bike’s handling, both with and without luggage. The new GEN2 frame also means a lower crossover height, making the bike more appealing to a wider range of gravel enthusiasts.
Highlights:
- POWDER-COATED:Â Coating is achieved by applying electrified powder coating particles to aluminum, which requires thermal treatment. After baking, the coating surface forms a perfectly smooth layer that is extremely resistant to mechanical damage
- RHS SYSTEM:Â To protect the frames as effectively as possible, a system of replaceable hooks has been developed, which can be easily and quickly replaced in case of damage. To minimize the possibility of frame damage, a thread is applied to the hook or a special nut.
- FLAT MOUNT:Â A new standard for brake mounting that allows for greater integration of the brake caliper into the frame, thereby increasing stiffness, reducing weight and improving aerodynamics, which, combined with the lower weight, has a positive effect on riding dynamics.
- INTERNAL CABLE ROUTE:Â Internal cable routing extends the lifespan of the cables, as they are protected from mud, sand, and rain along with the braiding. This saves valuable grams and gives the bike a clean, sporty feel.
- T-HEAD TUBE:Â Tapered head tube with a variable cross-section from 1 1/8″ at the top to 1.5″ at the bottom. The larger diameter at the bottom provides greater strength and stiffness, resulting in precise steering.
As with all high-quality bicycles, pedals are not included. These bicycles are typically ridden with a clipless pedal system, which the customer selects and purchases according to their needs. Of course, you can also ride with standard platform pedals.
The X-Fusion MANIC is a hydraulically assisted dropper seatpost with 50 mm of travel, a 27.2 mm diameter, and a 350 mm length. The seat height can be lowered or raised while riding via a handlebar remote, providing greater control and comfort on varying terrain.
Thanks to the hydraulic locking mechanism combined with an air spring, the seatpost operates particularly smoothly, predictably, and reliably. Internal cable routing ensures a clean look, while the two-bolt clamp allows for precise saddle adjustment.
