ALM: Active Load Management
. The ELECQ PowerMeter monitors your home’s load and communicates with the ELECQ Wallbox EV Charger. Thanks to an intelligent and advanced algorithm, the EV Charger automatically adjusts the power output to ensure safe and fast charging. This saves you the expense of costly electrical retrofits while ensuring a reliable power supply for your home.

Activate PV surplus charging.
The ELECQ PowerMeter offers three solar charging modes: Solar, Solar Priority, and Unrestricted Charging.
● Solar Only: The Elecq charging stations use only solar power for charging, without drawing any electricity from the grid.
● Solar Priority: The charging station prioritizes the use of solar energy for charging. If the solar power is insufficient, the device charges at the minimum power (6A). As soon as sufficient solar energy is available, only this is used – entirely without drawing power from the grid.
● Unrestricted charging: The use of solar energy is prioritized, with the grid compensating for any bottlenecks. In this mode, the wallbox charges at the maximum available power.

Advanced Wi-SUN technology:
The Elecq PowerMeter uses Wi-SUN technology to communicate automatically with the Elecq wallbox for electric vehicles – without any additional configuration. With a range of up to 200 meters, Wi-SUN significantly outperforms conventional Wi-Fi, offering excellent signal penetration and high interference immunity. At the same time, Wi-SUN technology reduces cabling effort and lowers installation costs. RS485 is also supported.

Safety tested and ready for home use:
The Elecq Power Monitor is equipped with a total of six current transformer terminals – three for detecting grid power and three for monitoring the solar system. Each component is thoroughly tested to prevent risks such as overheating, short circuits, and fire hazards. The Power Monitor is fully compatible with all Elecq wallboxes. For safety reasons, installation should always be carried out by a certified electrician.
