Eucalyptus medicinal bath is a bath additive with a natural active ingredient for the supportive treatment of acute and chronic inflammation of the upper respiratory tract (catarrh). Catarrh of the airways is often the first sign of a flu-like infection or a severe cold. The essential oils of the eucalyptus leaves unfold their beneficial effects in body-temperature water, noticeably alleviating the symptoms of colds. When inhaled, the essential oils have an expectorant effect on the inflamed airways, thus easing breathing and coughing. Instructions for use
Unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor, the usual dose is: For a full bath (approx. 100 liters), use 10–20 ml, corresponding to 1–2 capfuls. Eucalyptus medicinal bath is measured using the capful and added to the running bath water. The bath temperature should be 35–38°C, and the ideal bathing time is 10 to 20 minutes. Consult a doctor if you experience fever, purulent or bloody sputum, or persistent, unclear, or newly occurring symptoms. Not for infants and children under 2 years of age.
