Stability:
With its double internal reinforcement, our PVC privacy screen is more windproof and stable than others on the market that have only one reinforcement or none at all, thus reducing breakage and bending due to weather conditions.
Durability:
PVC fencing tends to develop white marks, which are barely noticeable on our textured surface, giving it a more attractive appearance.
These sturdy and weatherproof screens are therefore perfect for shop windows, swimming pools, cafes, trade fairs, or exhibitions. Their appealing look also makes them suitable as a design element.
Please note that even though the PVC privacy fence itself is 100% opaque, it is not 100% opaque because there are 1-2mm gaps between the individual slats. These gaps allow air to pass through, preventing the harsh flapping noises of a fabric privacy screen when the wind blows. The PVC privacy fence offers you a quiet and comfortable environment.
High UV resistance:
Our privacy screen also boasts high UV resistance. The colors of the PVC mats retain their vibrancy for a long time and do not fade quickly.
Installation:
Simply install your mat using the included cable ties. For secure fastening, we recommend using a cable tie every 25cm, but do not pull them too tight.
Danger:
1. Measure the desired size before purchasing. The height of the privacy fence should not exceed the height of the railing by more than 5 cm.Â
2. Avoid free-hanging installation. Installing it upright on the ground with several load-bearing points on the underside provides better wind resistance and a longer lifespan.
Adjustable size:
The length and height of the privacy screens can be shortened with a knife or scissors.
To shorten the fence, proceed as follows:
1. Unroll the fence horizontally and determine the desired length plus 3 slats (this will give you enough cord to knot).
2. Position 5 slats to the left of the desired length and apply enough superglue to each cord from top to bottom.
3. Once the glue has dried, cut the cords between the slats (desired length + 3 slats) with a knife or scissors. 4. Remove the 3 slats from the loop.
5. Knot the cord ends and secure them again with superglue on both sides.
6. Trim the cord ends (using a lighter if necessary).
If the privacy screen is too long, we recommend folding the excess length and attaching it to the railing instead of shortening it . This way, the appearance is not affected, and the privacy screen is effectively doubled. Since all PVC privacy screen mats on the market are manufactured with adhesive joints, cutting them to size requires some skill, and the process could go wrong if the steps are not followed precisely!
