This advanced, microprocessor-controlled battery charger delivers unparalleled performance when charging lead-acid batteries between 1.2 and 110 Ah. Its integrated automatic temperature compensation ensures optimal charging performance even under the most demanding conditions. The MXS 5.0 also includes battery diagnostics to determine if the battery can accept and hold a charge, a patented automatic desulfation program, an AGM option to maximize the lifespan of most start/stop batteries, and a dedicated Recond mode for reconditioning deeply discharged batteries. The MXS 5.0 utilizes CTEK’s patented Float/Pulse system, the most efficient maintenance charging mode when a battery remains connected to the charger for extended periods.
