Which guitar size is right for you?
The scale length indicates the size of a guitar – or more precisely, the length of the vibrating string between the nut and the bridge. The standard scale length is 650 mm and corresponds to a 4/4 guitar. All other sizes are therefore smaller and are recommended for children and teenagers.

1/4 size : Ages 4 to 7 | Height up to 110 cm | Scale length approx. 47-49 cm
1/2 size : Ages 5 to 9 | Height 110 to 130 cm | Scale length approx. 53-55 cm
3/4 size : Ages 8 to 11 | Height 120 to 140 cm | Scale length approx. 59-62 cm
7/8 size : Ages 10 to 13 | Height 130 to 150 cm | Scale length approx. 62-63 cm
4/4 size : Ages 14 and up | Height from approx. 150 cm | Menstrual length approx. 63-65 cm
