The Lionelo Bastiaan RWF i-Size car seat not only meets the latest i-Size standard, but has also undergone a crash test at TASS International in the Netherlands, under the same conditions used by the renowned German testing institute for awarding star ratings to car seats. These conditions are even stricter than the requirements of the latest i-Size standard, as they simulate a frontal impact at a higher speed. Our tests confirm that the Lionelo Bastiaan RWF i-Size seat offers 23% more head protection for the child – at 28% higher speeds – than required by the current standard. 

SPECIAL SAFETY SYSTEMS 

– Tri-Guard Headrest – consists of a combination of three different material layers, such as EPS polystyrene and memory foam, which are extremely elastic and absorb any impact. The headrest wraps around the child’s head, ensuring the safety of this most vulnerable part of the body.
– Advanced Side Protection – the seat’s robust construction and EPS polystyrene-reinforced side walls protect the child’s shoulders, torso, and hips, absorbing impact forces.
– Rear-facing up to 105 cm (approx. 4 years) – safety is guaranteed solely by rear-facing installation, which is recommended by all biomechanics experts.
