The E-Joy 20 reaches a top speed of 20 km/h and features a powerful 500-watt rear hub motor. Using a hub motor eliminates the need for wear parts like chains and sprockets. This not only saves money but also ensures increased reliability and improved acceleration.
Equipped with long-lasting 36V-12Ah lead-acid gel batteries, the foldable electric scooter achieves a range of approximately 25-35 km.
The battery takes 6-8 hours to charge and can be charged both internally on the e-scooter and externally. The battery box is removable and can be charged in the garage, apartment, house, etc.
This street-legal e-moped can even be ridden in the rain, as it is splash-proof! This compact electric vehicle produces no emissions and can find a parking space in 99% of cases!

LEGAL NOTES:
1. Helmet Requirement
: The E-Joy 20 is classified as a light moped and is therefore exempt from the helmet requirement.
However, for safety reasons, wearing a helmet is recommended.
2. Vehicle Registration:
The E-Joy 20 requires liability insurance. Upon taking out this insurance, you will receive an insurance license plate (moped license plate) which must be affixed to the vehicle.
An EU Certificate of Conformity (EEC) is included with the scooter. With this vehicle registration document, you can obtain a license plate from the insurance company of your choice.
3. Driver’s License:
A moped license is required to operate the vehicle. Minimum age: 15 years. Holders of driver’s license categories A, B, and T do not require a license.
Persons born before April 1, 1965, do not require a license or driver’s license.
4. Vehicle Class:
The E-Joy 20 is classified as a light moped.
