The Bosch Smart Home Heating Starter Set provides the ideal foundation for efficient and future-proof indoor climate management in your home. It combines the control center, the Bosch Smart Home Controller II, with two smart Bosch Smart Home Radiator Thermostats II [+M] to offer you comprehensive comfort and energy efficiency. The Bosch Smart Home Controller II serves as the central control unit, connecting your Bosch Smart Home devices (Generation II and selected existing products*) and selected partner devices via the Zigbee wireless protocol and your home network. It consolidates all information, controls device functions, and allows operation via the app, voice command, or through predefined scenarios and automations. For maximum data security, all data is stored locally by default, and communication – even during remote access – is protected thanks to state-of-the-art encryption. Regular updates continuously expand its functionality. A key feature is Matter compatibility, which integrates many of your existing Bosch Smart Home devices into other Matter systems and enables connection with products from other manufacturers via the Matter Smart Home standard. *Works with Bosch Smart Home Generation II devices as well as outdoor sirens, motion detectors, Twinguard, Twist, water detectors, and compact smart plugs. The two Bosch Smart Home Radiator Thermostats II [+M] allow you to set individual desired temperatures and display the current temperature in the app. They contribute significantly to energy efficiency and demand-based heating, thanks in part to time programs and services such as “Sustainable Ventilation” (detection of open windows) and “Temperature Drop.” Up to four heating schedules with freely selectable temperature levels and time windows can be saved and activated spontaneously. The “Climate Manager” in the app also offers flexible heating breaks, for example, for the summer. Within a room, multiple thermostats can be grouped to control a single room temperature, allowing for optimal and flexible temperature regulation – directly on the device, via a room thermostat, through automations, voice control, or via the app, even remotely. The measured temperatures can be used as triggers for smart automations to precisely control other devices as needed (e.g., roller shutters for heat protection). The Radiator Thermostat II [+M] is also compatible with all current Matter standard functions in any Matter system and its respective app.
